One of the best pieces of advice I've received was to focus more on managing your energy than managing your time. A misconception about energy is that it's a finite resource. It's not. Energy is something that's created, not consumed. The way to get more energy is actually to do more things, not less A simple test to prove this - think about when you were the most energized in your life. It was probably a time when you were incredibly busy. Anecdotally this is true for myself and the people I know. Time on the other hand is finite. No matter how optimally you manage it, you can't actually create more. As a result - there is much more leverage in improving energy management vs time management.
